Kristin Arnold

Growing up in Colorado my passion for the outdoors began at an early age. Our family trips were always centered around some sort of outdoor adventure be it skiing, hut trips, or biking. The mountains have always felt like home, and after college I was determined to find a way to live in the mountains full time. Steamboat Springs, CO was the first stop, and after that the beauty and adventure of the great Alaskan mountains lured me north to guide in the Wrangell-St. Elias range. I haven’t been able to pull myself away from the adventure Alaska provides, and now call the ski town of Girdwood, Alaska home. When I am not guiding you can find me searching for powder in the backcountry, mountaineering and climbing ice in the Chugach mountains, or rock climbing in the desert of the southwest.
Through guiding and instructing I get to share my love for the outdoors on a daily basis, and enjoy the stoke when people obtain their objectives! I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to join the Mountain Trip family! I cant wait to share the mountains of Alaska with you!
