June 24 Team – Hunkered Down in a Whiteout

Our guide Josh Garner called in from the basin camp at 11,200′.  The team has been in a blizzard today, with lots of snow falling and whiteout conditions.  They were unable to carry loads up higher on the mountain today, due to the snow and lack of visibility.  Hopefully, tomorrow will dawn a bit less snowy and they will have a chance to move their supplies up another 2,300′ to a location below their next camp.

Everyone is doing well and spirits are high.

Here’s Josh!
