The Mountain Trip Registration Process
In an effort to clarify the services provided on various expeditions, we ask that if you would like to reserve a place on a Mountain Trip expedition you must read, complete and submit an application packet for your trip of choice along with a deposit appropriate to the trip you are requesting to join.
We highly recommend calling our office to discuss whether or not a given trip is a good choice for you. Many of our expeditions require a very high level of fitness as well as require that climbers be in excellent physical condition. Our office staff is well versed in the nuances of each expedition and will help you with your decision process.
The Mountain Trip Expedition Application Packet below is a general one for all of our expeditions except Mount Everest. Everest climbers, please use the Mountain Trip Everest Application Packet.
For all trips, the balance of the trip cost is due 120 days prior to the Meeting Date for the expedition. Denali climbers are especially recommended to sign up early, as many West Buttress expeditions fill up by mid-autumn of the previous year.
We have looked long and hard for an insurance policy that would adequately protect the investments required to join expeditions to the bigger mountains of the world. We are happy to be able to offer the Travel Guard Adventure Protection Plan to our US and Canadian climbers. Click the link above or the image below to sign up for this policy.
We have had several climbers unfortunately need to use this policy over the past couple of years and they reported that it was easy to work with Travel Guard. There are additional benefits if you purchase your policy within 15 days of signing up for an expedition, so please give it careful consideration and sign up in a timely fashion.
